Activists urge Pope Francis to address sex abuse by clergy during U.S. visit

John Salveson didn’t give up his obsession with the Catholic Church easily. There were polite letters in the early 1980s, asking that the priest who molested him when he was a teenager be removed.

His bishop wrote back, but the priest remained, transferring parishes through the late ’80s, according to a grand jury report. “Sincerely yours in Christ,” the bishop closed his letters.

Later, Salveson led a group that advocated for church reform. But by the mid-2000s, he had grown discouraged and shifted his focus to pushing for stronger laws and enforcement.

Prompted by Pope Francis’s trip to Philadelphia this fall, Salveson has renewed his activism toward the church, calling for the pontiff and other participants in a global Catholic meeting on family issues to discuss child sex abuse by clergy members and wear black ribbons to represent “the darkness that infects the souls of survivors,” he said.

This Bill Will Finally End Cannabis Prohibition – NOW in Congress

Like a pebble thrown into a still pond, once federal cannabis law is essentially nullified, states where lawmakers were previously reluctant to approve medical or even recreational use will be far likelier to approve decriminalization. As ripples go, once constituents see neighboring states end prohibition, the chance exists for those states with even the harshest pot penalties to succumb to public pressure and follow suit. It’s entirely feasible to expect the death of cannabis prohibition altogether, resulting from this single-sentence legislation.

Geophysicist, J. Marvin Herndon Exposes Chemtrails as a Prosecutable Crime 3

What is the most important significance of your recently published scientific paper?

1) It provides scientific identification, evidence that can be taken into courts of law; 2) it shows the horrific public health consequences of coal fly ash aerosol dispersion; 3) it shows the scientific community that ignored the whole matter to be institutionally corrupt; 4) it debilitates those who would say there’s nothing to the particulate trails because, if there were, the scientists would have investigated it and not a single scientific paper on the subject has been published (before mine, that is).

The “law and order” crowd is destroying our freedoms!

The confused “law and order” mentality the government has created in so many people MUST be broken so that JUSTICE can be brought back into the equation. The issue should always be JUSTICE, not compliance with arbitrary rules. Justice my friend. What you want and demand for yourself and your family and your friends. That is what everyone should get. Justice to the maximum extent.

People never connect the dots that the education system they attended was fully controlled by the same government that desires to control the citizenry with its system of “laws”.

Slave or Rebel? Ten Principles for Escaping the Matrix and Standing Up to Tyranny

The threats are of many kinds: political, cultural, educational, media, and psychological. However, as history shows us, freedom is not, on the whole, wrested from a citizenry. It is all too often given over voluntarily and for such a cheap price: safety, security, bread, and circuses.

Moreover, we are presented with the illusion that we act of our own volition when most of the time we are being watched, prodded, and controlled. “The nature of psychological compulsion is such that those who act under constraint remain under the impression that they are acting on their own initiative,” Aldous Huxley stated. “The victim of mind-manipulation does not know that he is a victim. To him, the walls of his prison are invisible.”

First, we must come to grips with the reality that the present system does not foster freedom. It denies freedom and must be altered. “Our authoritarian system is based on cruelty and control—it increasingly drives natural love and feelings from our society and produces violence and greed,” Lindner recognizes. “Our society is deteriorating morally and intellectually. This system cannot be reformed.”

In other words, the hope is that the cry of  ‘give me television and hamburgers, but don’t bother me with the responsibilities of liberty,’ may give place, under altered circumstances, to the cry of ‘give me liberty or give me death.’” This is indeed dangerous freedom.

American Tyranny and the Future – Ron Paul on the Larry King Show

I think we can be an exceptional nation, we have been an exceptional nation, but we should set a standard. We should practice civil liberties, we should have a good economy, and let people say, hey America is great, I wonder what they’re doing, maybe we ought to follow them. But for us to use authority and force and guns and threaten people, I claim we’ve only had two kinds of foreign policy. If other countries would do exactly as we say, we give them billions and billions of dollars. If they don’t do exactly as we tell them, we turn on them and we kill them. And I think there’s a third option, and that is a little bit of diplomacy and a little bit of common sense.

But what we need to do in this country is make sure that the majority of the American people really want their freedoms back again. And quite frankly, I think we’d be a lot safer, there’d be a lot more peace, and this economy would be a heck of a lot better considering the trillions and trillions of dollars we spend on the war machine, military investor complex and how about that many, many trillions of dollars we spent bailing out the rich when the economic crisis hit. That can all change, we could have such a different situation, and I just sort of am sad that more people don’t wake up and listen to the truth.

The irony and potential to subvert the state’s obsession with security is obvious here. Watch his promotional video…

—5/26/158:05 amTo Fight for Freedom, or to Fight for Empire – That is the QuestionFor Neo, in the movie The Matrix, the choice is incredibly clear: Freedom. He would rather the pain that comes from the truth of the Desert of the Real, than the ominous lie that is the Matrix. But the choice is also very clear for Cypher: Empire. As he insouciantly put it, “Why, oh why, didn’t I choose the blue pill?” Cypher gives up, cowardly deciding ignorance is bliss, forfeiting truth. Neo rises up, courageously deciding knowledge is pain, but so rewarding that it’s worth it.Similarly, in the movie Avatar, the choice is beyond clear to Jake Sully: Freedom. Get busy remaining a crippled victim of an ego-centric, oppressive, over-reaching military or get busy becoming an interdependent hero with eco-centric morals and universal empathy and compassion? But the choice is also very clear for Colonel Miles Quaritch: Empire. He believes so blindly in the military code that his own loyalty and ego-centrism blinds him to the sheer magnitude of his immoral, uncompassionate, mass-destructive, murderous, and ecocidal rampage of a peaceful people and an interdependent cosmos.Likewise in the movie Divergent, the choice is clear to Tris Prior: Freedom. She perfects a balance with Abnegation (selflessness), Amity (peacefulness), Candor (honesty), Dauntlessness (bravery), and Erudition (intelligence), in order to leverage freedom into an otherwise unfree system of human governance. But the choice is also clear for the ominous Erudite leader Jeanine Mathews: Empire. She is thoroughly convinced that oppressive divisiveness is the only way to maintain order, not realizing that her blind obedience is at the cost of truth itself. The fight for freedom is a fight for non-violent (but ruthless and robust) anarchy: a healthy eco-centric, egalitarian balance between nature and the human soul. It is a fight to create something new: a peaceful, courage-based, relationship-based lifestyle that has the power to trump the violent, fear-based, ownership-based lifestyle that is currently plaguing the human condition.-Read more at:–5/21/155:50 amNSA Employee Database Creator Received Death Threat After Unveiling ProjectSeveral people have asked to have their names removed from the database, the founder said. American Natives Ask UN to End U.S. “Occupation”

A mysterious “human rights” coalition purporting to speak for Native Americans in Alaska and Hawaiian natives is demanding an end to what it calls the U.S. “occupation” of those states — and it is asking for United Nations and hostile foreign powers to intervene to help secure independence from the United States. The UN and the Obama administration have, in recent years especially, stepped up their “indigenous peoples” campaign to attack liberty. And analysts say the implications of the developments should be troubling to all Americans.

Dan Olmsted: As a senior editor for UPI (United Press International), Olmsted wrote a series of articles regarding the link between vaccines and autism. Specifically, Olmsted wrote about how the mercury in vaccines is linked to dramatic increases in autism cases.

Olmsted was eventually forced out at UPI; he founded the Age of Autism (also the title of his series of columns and reports) after leaving the newswire. Check his site regularly for the latest information; he also accepts donations to support his efforts.

Alisyn Camerota: Currently co-anchoring CNN’s New Day program, Camerota spent 16 years at Fox News. In 2011, she reported on a probe linking government vaccine settlements and autism. The report was widely “debunked” by the “scientific community.” Before then, she was recognized by Age of Autismin 2010 as “Journalist of the Year” for fairly covering the issue of vaccine safety.

Sharyl Attkisson: As one of the last true investigative reporters who doesn’t care which political ox she gores, Attkisson was a thorn in the side of her network producers and senior editors over a number of issues — her dogged and truthful coverage of the Benghazi scandal, Operation Fast and Furious, the Obama Administration’s “green energy” scam — and the vaccine-autism link. After a couple of harrowing years following a 20-year career at the network, she left in February 2014.

But she continues to cover the vaccine-autism story, and other important topics, on her website.
