Philippines Moves Fighter Jets to South China Sea; Using old U.S. Base at Subic Bay – War with China “possible”

 

In a dangerous escalation of tensions in the South China Sea, the Philippines have moved fighter jets into the area; opting to re-open the former U.S. base at Subic Bay, only 200 KM away from a newly created Chinese military installation on a newly created island in that area of the sea.

China has been dredging islets into islands 1400 KM away from its shores, to establish a presence (and control?) of the South China Sea. No country recognizes these new islands as being part of China, and no nation is recognizing a 12 mile international ocean border for any of the new islands.
