Last week CNN’s Brianna Keilar scored the first televised Hillary Clinton interview since the prohibitive Democratic frontrunner announced her candidacy. On State of the Union Sunday morning, Keilar said she was surprised Clinton was so defiant on her trust deficit.
“I was surprised that she didn’t show a little more contrition,” Keilar said. “Talking to Democrats, including Democrats who really want to see her in the White House, they’ll say, she didn’t handle the e-mail situation right. The Clinton Foundation controversy, that’s also a self-inflicted wound. So I’m surprised that she didn’t give more on that.”
